Sideshow Productions: Operations Policy

Welcome to Sideshow Productions! We’re committed to providing a safe, hygienic, and professional environment for all our services. To ensure the best experience for everyone, we kindly ask our clients to adhere to the following policies:

Consent and Identification

Consent Forms: All clients receiving services must sign a consent form acknowledging understanding and agreement to the procedures.
Valid ID Requirement: Every client must present a valid government-issued ID. This is crucial for age verification and record-keeping.

Policies for Minors (General Studio Access)

Studio Access: Minors are only allowed in the studio for piercing-related services and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
Documentation for Minors (Piercings): Minors must bring their birth certificate and a photo ID (valid passport, driver’s license, or school ID). The birth certificate is mandatory.
Parent/Guardian ID: Parents or legal guardians must also provide a valid government-issued ID.

Tattoo Services (18+ Everyday)

Age Restriction (Standard): We do not provide tattoo services to individuals under the age of 18 for regular, day-to-day appointments.
Exception: See “Tattoo Services for Minors (16–17) — Promotional Events Only” below.

Tattoo Services for Minors (16–17) — Promotional Events Only

To participate, all of the following requirements must be met without exception:

Required Documents (Minor):
- Birth certificate of the child/minor.
- Driver’s license; if none, a school ID may be used. (A clear photo/screenshot of the ID is acceptable.)
Required Forms (Parents/Guardians):
- Both parents or legal guardians must complete and sign a Consent to Tattoo form.
- Provide a copy of both parents’/guardians’ IDs.
School Portfolio Check:
- A parent or legal guardian will be asked to pull up the child’s school website portfolio; a photo or screenshot will be requested for our records.
Guardian Presence:
- A parent or legal guardian must remain present for the entire duration (including any waiting period).
- If the parent/guardian leaves for any reason, the tattoo service will stop immediately and the child will need to wait until the next promotion to begin or finish the tattoo.
Placement Limits:
- Arms and legs only.
When Available:
- Tattoos for minors (ages 16–17) are only available during flash promotions, special events, or fundraisers.
- Promotional designs only; everyday custom bookings for minors are not offered.
Scheduling & Capacity:
- Availability is limited and may be first-come, first-served during events. Artist approval is required.
Touch-Ups for Promotional Minor Tattoos:
- Touch-ups follow our standard touch-up policy (see below) unless otherwise specified by the artist at the event.

Touch-Up Policy

Initial Touch-Ups: Touch-ups on tattoos are free within the first 30 days of the original tattoo.
Additional Touch-Ups: Any further touch-ups are at the artist’s discretion and may incur additional charges.

Right to Refuse Service

Sideshow Productions reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. This may include, but is not limited to, client behavior, health conditions, or if the requested service violates our professional standards or ethical guidelines.

Sales Policy

All Sales Final: Please be advised that all sales are final. We ensure the highest quality in our work and products, and we stand by our services.

Safety and Hygiene

Our studio adheres to strict hygiene and safety protocols. We use 100% disposable, sterilized tubes, needles, and pigments for each client to ensure your safety and peace of mind.
